Schedule of events for Saturday-Day of the Reunion & Sunday
9:30a.m. Tour- meet on the east side of the Student Center -(Libr. side for those who are directional challenged)
We'll have a sign showing who we are. Probably won't be a problem, we'll be the old folks looking lost. It is Mustang Round-Up, so we don't want anyone going astray.
This tour, by the way, will be wonderful! Ashley Smith, Alpha Phi and MSU Ambassador, will lead it. She said we can stop, go in, really where ever we want. She is studying up on everything new and old, so she will be a wealth of information.
We can go inside the Student Center which has some neat computer rooms, bookstore, etc. We then plan on going to the Fine Arts Building, Killingsworth (recently renovated) and the brand new SunWatcher Court. She said they are all "awesome." Then to the new workout center-and Vinson HealthCare-"fantastic and amazing" and circle around to see the Outdoor Building and more workout buildings and the lake.
Next, it's on to the alumni building, which is the little white house, that used to be the grounds keeper's house. The Dr. Beyer greenhouse is behind this building. We'll go the honors dorms-which none of you would have a clue about when you were there-ok, maybe Joanne Williford would.
We'll circle around to see the new Jack Stevens' Mustangs and the Bikers (sculptures). She's going to point out several things along the way. We will end up at the new Dillard Business Building. It truly is amazing. I think everyone will be very impressed.

12:00ish We will end our tour there and have lunch in the Dillard Board Room. If there is somewhere else you would like to go or see, let me Judy Cookingham, judycookingham@sbcglobal.net know and we can do it. We will go by the autistic houses, obviously, not the correct name. They are really, really neat. MSU is one of 2 schools in the nation that houses highly functional autistic students. Because this is their home, we shouldn't go in. A MSU professor has been instrumental in getting this started-neat story, but you'll have to wait for the tour to hear about it.

Leslee Ponder, who is in charge of alumni relations, has arranged and is paying for us to have an MSU shuttle. Leslee and her group have been wonderful and so helpful!
Also, the Dillard Bldg. usually only lets organizations that are affiliated with the business school use the board room, but Lynn in the Student Center hooked us up. It will be a light lunch of sandwiches, chips, tea , fruit platter (dessert at the reception). The cost of lunch is $5.00 and will be catered by MSU. We will have to give him a number by Wednesday, Nov. 4th (let me know).
We can visit in there until 1:30 or walk around the quadrangle.
Kyle Williams can get discounted tickets (we're working on free )for the nationally ranked MSU football game for any of the guys who want to go. Of course, we need to let him know that week.

1:30 On to the reception at the "new" Chapter Room.

2:30ish After we "recept," anyone who wants to go on a SSS (we'll call it Sisterhood Shopping Spree) can ride in Suburbans to the cutesy, locally owned shops.
First to the Containery, where Beth Hamilton is giving Alpha Phis discounts that day. I'm going to meet with her and get the information.
We'll walk a few doors down to Miks. Brittany, an Alpha Phi, used to work there. They're working on something for us. Lifestyles is in-between and I can contact Janie McGowen, if you want me, too. Andrea Wellsfry of Polkadot Penguin is going to host a wine and cheese tasting party for the Alpha Phis!
She will need an estimated number that week so she will know how many to plan for.
They have all been very enthusiastic and generous toward us. So, you'll have to act really nice if you go on the SSS :)
oh, and bring $$$

We'll end up back at MSU, or if they need to be taken back to the hotels, we can do that.

6:30 The Wellington and Banquet...The professional photographer will be taking pledge class pictures and an entire group picture. etc. If you want your "family" Big/Little Sister picture taken-round 'em up. Start thinking about what other pictures you want taken. She'll do anything and stay as long as we need her to stay.It just costs more, so we'd like to keep it moving. The CD of the entire evening will be on sale for either $10 or $15 and will be mailed, hopefully the next week.

While the Divas are having their pictures taken, the Hunks will be outside by the fireplace. There will be a bar, and Margarita machine out there along with a cigar bar. The cigars have Alpha Phi "cigar Aficionado designer" labels. They will certainly be a collector's item and there is only a limited number, so you'll need to grab yours (cigar) fast. There will also be chocolate cigars for those who don't indulge in tobacco cigars. Oh, I'm supposed to tell you the cigars are from the Dominican Republic-that's supposed to mean something. The labels are "priceless" The cigars will be around $7.00.

Sunday morning,TBA- at the hotel and after breakfast, Kathy K. Drake will give us a little send off message. She really is a great speaker and will do a super job. She has a huge heart for college girls, so I hope some of them can come.

This is the time we can say our good-byes
